The Divinity series is highly rated and it's fair to claim it sparked the contemporary revival of complex computer role-playing games. These games are defined by intricate stories, player agency, and deep class systems—qualities that recently found massive success in games like Baldur's Gate 3.

While its setting is traditional swords and sorcery, what makes Divinity apart is the unprecedented level of trust granted to the player.

While numerous modern RPGs have pared back options, Divinity is packed with niche playthroughs you can achieve if you're playing as a specific type of character with a unique decision path.
